Development of "MineGeoP" software for High-Resolution Digital Terrain Models, Production of Maps, and Monitoring of Spatial Deformations in Open Pit Mines with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)


Within the scope of the project, a domestic software that can perform Digital Elevation Model (DEM) production, volume calculations and Spatial deformation analyzes was produced using orthophoto maps produced from aerial photographs. With the help of this software, high-resolution Digital Terrain Models, volume calculations, and especially Spatial deformation analyses of open pit mining enterprises are carried out with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).



Within the scope of this project, a software that creates periodic Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and then calculates the volume from these DEMs and automatically monitors the areal deformations and gives information about the direction, speed and magnitude of the deformations has been developed.
